Clients are very wide ranging across large corporate UK based clients, international business, charity / not for profit and other wide ranging clientsJob DescriptionJoining the Plymouth team as VAT Senior Manager you will advise clients on UK and international clients on the VAT and other indirect tax implications of the new trading arrangements with the EU and other international trade issues. You will advise charity and other not for profit clients on VAT liability of income and VAT recovery including partial exemption methods as well as discussing the VAT implications of residential and commercial property developments with clients and contacts including solicitors and architects and advising clients on adapting to the new requirements of making tax digital. You will build strong relationships internally developing teams, along with business development, growing and developing this service line and progress in your VAT career within this leading chartered firm.The Successful ApplicantYou may be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, or you may have developed your VAT career entirely through experience to date. Your background may have been gained in any accountancy practice firm background from Top Tier firm through to Mid Tier/Top 50 and independent firm environment. Or you will have a career within industry, with exposure to varied VAT issues, or have a background in HMRC specialising in VAT and be looking to transfer these skills into the accounting profession. You will most likely be operating around the VAT Manager / Senior Manager levels and be looking for a role where you can progress and develop within your career. There is scope for either a full time or part time working arrangement and agile/flexible working on offer with a mix of remote/home working to office base involvement.What's on Offer£50,000- £65,000 negotiable dependent on the background, experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
