Job Description

  • Facilitate discussions with different departments to resolve issues impacting the production schedule.
  • Ensure accurate data in our systems, providing clear communication to customer service representatives.
  • Collaborate with Indian factory and sales teams, understanding demands and managing forecasting through the SIOP process.
  • Communicate plans and forecasted requirements effectively to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Review plans with relevant teams to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Coordinate daily contact with third-party warehouses for inbound/outbound stock, ensuring timely and accurate booking. Manage customer order uploads and proactively monitor delivery dates.
  • Escalate critical supply issues, collaborating with stakeholders to overcome challenges.
  • Convert requisitions to orders and manage the purchase order process.
  • Take accountability for managing exception messages on materials, ensuring optimal quantities at the right time.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, purchase price variance issues, and invoice errors with external partners.
  • Collaborate with the team to support End of Life strategies for products.

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn new software.
  • Understanding of production/manufacturing processes and lead times.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the textile industry.
  • Experience in capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, focusing on details and delivering results.
  • Action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines consistently.
