Job Description

Located in Sheffield, Attercliffe Area my client is currently going through a through a large expansion plan and are now looking to bring Quality Assurance in house to catapult the business forwards. This role would be suitable for Quality Manager or Quality Engineers who have a strong background in Quality Assurance and Implementing manages systems.

Working directly for the Company Direct this role will be without a support team, and so the appropriate candidate will be happy to work as a Quality department conducting all levels of QHSE administration, management and direction. The company is certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, as well as maintaining FORS Gold within an integrated management system.

The quality manager will be responsible for leading in all areas of quality, health & safety and environmental issues. This includes all internal and external audits, document control, policy management, and colleague training and engagement. The right candidate will have the initiative to continually improve and evolve the current IMS in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust Quality policies and procedures to safeguard all aspects of company operations.
  • Conduct inspections, investigations and internal audits to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and legal regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, implementing proactive measures to minimize potential hazards.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address QHSE issues, whilst driving corrective actions.
  • Analyse data and generate insightful reports for senior management's strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to create good QHSE culture within the workplace.
  • Lead quarterly meetings with senior management assessing the integrated management system, and undertake all preparatory work.

The Successful Applicant

To apply for this exciting new position located in Sheffield you will have a proven track record as either a successful Quality Engineer or Quality Manager, or a significant member of a QHSE team, within a relevant manufacturing domain.

Other Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of quality regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Excellent report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to empower and engage diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What's on Offer

This will be a Permanent, Full-time position with an estimated salary, of £35,000 - £45,000.00 per year, working Monday to Friday in person, days based.
