Job Description

  • Buying products, and sourcing including RFQ's/Tendering
  • Dealing with £000's of revenue spend and looking into cost savings
  • Liaising with suppliers, and deliver value for money
  • Contact with internal stakeholders (supply chain/npd/branding)
  • Support board level of business and be the 'go to' for the purchasing function

The Successful Applicant

To be successful Buyer - in Leicester you will have;

  • Ideally some FMCG experience
  • Sourcing experience from UK, EU/Far East
  • Be a fantastic communicator, as you'll be chatting to NPD/Sales/Supply Chain on the daily
  • Be prepared to challenge suppliers and draft RFQ's/Tender processes
