Finance Controller - Part Time

• Overall responsibility for the finance function
• Ensure all accounting operations and processes run smoothly across the business
• Preparation and management of cash flow to advise expenditure and cash maintenance strategy.
• Modelling of financial information to aid decision making
• Preparation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasting.
• Prepare monthly accounts pack and identifying trends, variances and forecasts.
• Ensuring that the finance system is continually updated, monitored and being used to its maximum.
• Overseeing the audit process, preparation of schedules, liaising with auditors and ensuring Statutory information is correct
• Preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT return
• Ensuring accuracy of input into Corporation Tax computation.
• Overall approval of monthly payroll, control reconciliations and day to day input.
• Providing and explaining financial information to senior stakeholders
• Supervision and development of the Finance team
• Updating, reviewing financial policies & procedures to maintain internal controls.
