Job Description

The Internal Audit Manager will be;

  • Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in planning, organising, conducting, reporting and following-up Internal Audit projects.
  • Performs audit procedures, including conducting interviews, reviewing and analysing documents and evidence, preparing working papers, identifying and defining issues, and documenting processes and procedures.
  • Identifies, develops, and documents audit findings for review by the Head of Internal Audit.
  • Assists in communicating the results of audits and advisory projects via written memos, reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to management.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Internal Audit Manager must have;

  • Experience of risk-based auditing techniques, excellent communication skills and the personality to gain the confidence of senior management. Prior experience of working with SAP would be desirable but not essential. Must have a thorough understanding of business control processes and procedures.
  • Program assurance experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical abilities and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Motivated with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Ability to gain the confidence and respect of management and staff.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
