About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of complete lighting solutions, they are seeking a Business Development Manager for their Northern territory.

Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key partners.
  • Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute business development plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customised solutions for clients.
  • Negotiate and close business deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyse business development metrics and KPIs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience selling a "Marketing-Led" solution into the OEM and Electrical Wholesale market.
  • You will have experience in both Account Management and New Business sales activity and be driven, consultative and ambitious.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
