Job Description

As a Business Development Manager specialising in Data Communication Cables at Lapp, you will be at the forefront of expanding our presence in the fast-paced and dynamic data communication cable market. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas in the data communication cable segment.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to capitalise on identified opportunities.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through targeted outreach efforts.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of Lapp's data communication cable product portfolio and stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions to clients, acting as a trusted advisor in their cable and connectivity requirements.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for data communication cables, consistently driving revenue growth in alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and agreements to secure profitable deals.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of strategies and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager will:

  • Have a proven track record in business development, preferably in the data communication cable products industry.
  • Possess strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of data communication cable technologies.
