Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Cloud Server Management:

  • Design, deploy, and manage server infrastructure in Azure.
  • Optimise servers for performance, cost, and resilience.

Azure Virtual Desktop:

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop instances.
  • Collaborate with teams to determine desktop needs and optimise user experiences.



Certificate Management:

  • Oversee the provisioning, deployment, renewal, and revocation of digital certificates.
  • Ensure secure and efficient certificate storage.
  • Support the implementation of SCEP solutions to enhance device and network security.





Update Management:

  • Regularly review, plan, and apply updates across all Azure services and resources.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to prioritise critical updates.

InTune (Desirable):

  • Understanding of InTune, MDM, and MAM.
  • Manage devices and applications using Microsoft Intune.
  • Collaboration:



  • Work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless and secure cloud operations.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices and new technologies.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions within scope.
  • Professional Requirements:

The Successful Applicant

Essential:

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Solid experience with Azure, particularly Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Proficiency in server management and certificate handling.
  • Experience with update management in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune is a plus.
  • Relevant Azure or cloud certifications are a benefit.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users clearly.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation, empathy, and patience in dealing with end-users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL processes is advantageous.
