An innovative and influential organisation within the Data Science and Aerospace is looking for a HR Data Analyst - Employee Engagement Project Lead

Job Description

You will be comfortable planning, organising, and delivering tried and tested HR/People focused initiatives at pace, but also interested in trying innovative approaches tailored to the Agency and its staff.

In particular, you will:

* Lead on all key activities to respond to the annual People Survey results. You will scope, conduct deep-dives and quality assure analysis of the People Survey on the full range of topics covered in the survey e.g., the core themes, experiences of discrimination, bullying and harassment, comments, text analysis and other demographic characteristics

* Regularly review and update the 2023 People Survey Project Plan, ensuring that all activities are delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard

* Develop and deliver an evidence-based Agency level action plan that reflects the key areas of concern identified in the 2023 People Survey

* To maximise engagement with the 2023 People Survey, work collaboratively with the HR Business Partners and Communications team to develop a fit-for-purpose SharePoint page for the survey and when required, provide advice to senior leaders and wider stakeholders, helping them to interpret the survey results

* Provide key input into SLT and Executive Committee (ExCo) papers and submissions and answering ad hoc queries across the full range of subject matter covered in the People and Pulse surveys

* Analyse Stribe Pulse Survey results and produce monthly reports as required for the HRBP team. Report should highlight key findings and suggested action points

The Successful Applicant

An experienced HR generalist with working knowledge across a range of HR disciplines - in particular, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and learning and development.

* Strong data and analysis skills: proven track record of working with and analysing large datasets, transforming source data into different usable formats. A strong eye for detail and ability to provide insight as well as intelligence, using excellent written and verbal communication skills when reporting

* Excellent data presentation/visualisation skills: You will need to produce data presentations in a compelling way, communicating complex research and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Experience of presenting confidently to audiences of varying sizes

* Knowledge/experience of writing formal briefings for senior leaders and able to tailor communications to suit the needs of the target audience

* Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Planner)

* Previous experience working in an HR or People Analytics role

Desirable:

* A CIPD Level 5 qualification will be desirable but not essential.

* HR Business Partnering experience.
