Freight General Manager

The Ideal Freight General Manager who will be reporting into the Managing Director will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of freight operations
• Optimise supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Lead and supervise Air, Ocean and Road teams
• Develop and implement strategies to meet performance and budgetary targets
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and other partners
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships through exceptional service
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions
• Resolve operational issues and address customer concerns
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
