Job Description

The Production Manager will form part of the leadership team of this impressive manufacturing business and will have full responsibility for all production operations on site.You will be tasked with delivering inspirational leadership, effective coaching and developing a culture of success through a team of direct reports, and a wider team of c.30.Other day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of the production plan and its implementation
  • Delivering to stringent on time and in full targets
  • Adhering to budget requirements
  • Promoting a culture focussed on continuous improvement
  • Developing high performing teams
  • Achieving agreed KPIs
  • Implementing additional KPIs to drive performance and success
  • Acting as an agent for change

The Successful Applicant

Successful Production Manager candidates will have a strong cabinetry or joinery background. You will provide inspirational management and possess:

  • Extensive hands-on experience of managing production, warehousing and assembly in a joinery, cabinet or furniture manufacturing industry
  • Ability to analyse data to drive performance
  • A successful track record in mentoring and developing emerging talent
  • A proven continuous improvement skill set
  • Strong, passionate and motivational leadership and communication skills with the ability to build a culture of succession
  • An innovative and customer focussed approach

What's on Offer

  • £50-55k but actual salary and benefits package dependent on experience
