My client is a worldwide provider of education services

Job Description

Will deal with cases referred by users, the IT support analyst/technician or remote support team. Will provide front-line primary technical support to the end users on various escalated technical issues and problems related to IT hardware, software and peripherals. Work on IT infrastructure in close collaboration with infrastructure global team. Participate in IT procurement tasks.

  • Identifies the problems' root-causes and provides support to end users and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other IT teams across the group.
  • Communicate with the onsite and remote users for troubleshooting and cases resolutions.
  • Coordinates the technical support specialists work on
  • Participate in the IT procurement process.
  • Evaluates users' needs and provides recommendation for equipment and software
  • Be accountable for VC assistance to VIP's and meeting room presentations equipment.
  • Communicates with external IT services providers and suppliers.
  • Provide crucial technical support to end-users within the organization.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves a wide range of IT-related issues.
  • Relies on effective communication and problem-solving skills when interacting with end-users.
  • Collaborates with 3rd Line Support and other IT teams to escalate and resolve issues.

REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications/Education
* Possesses a university degree in IT or an equivalent diploma
* Holds IT-related certifications

Knowledge/Skills
* Proficient in providing robust support for Windows PC and Mac devices, with extensive experience in Windows OS and Microsoft Office products
* Competent in Windows Servers administration
* Capable of administering LAN and WAN services
* Proficient in managing local Wi-Fi services, telephony, and supporting video conference end-point solutions
* Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users
* Familiarity with MacOS
* Knowledge of additional spoken languages

* Basic Understadning of Network Protocols

Experience
* Accumulated 1-5 years of experience in the field of IT and user services

Please note that the post holder may be required to assume different or additional responsibilities as dictated by business needs and the request of their direct managerCommunication is key for this role - you must be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What's on Offer

This role requires 5 days per week on site

Up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits
