Manufacturing Engineering Manager

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a manufacturing engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing processes - identifying and championing major improvements to existing products/processes. You will be responsible for optimising production efficiency, implementing cutting-edge technologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application of continuous improvement and execution of planned capital spend programs.
• Supporting organisational growth, through the delivery and support of NPI programs, inclusive of associated manufacturing technologies
• Day to day management of Process Engineers and activities to support the needs of the business
• Using LEAN tools & techniques, identifying and implementing manufacturing best practice and strive for operational efficiency and associated continuous process improvements
• Support in the development and management of the Process Engineering strategy to support the overall business strategy
• Support the NPI process from initial proto-typing through to stable volume production
• Develop and execute a capital planning program to support site's growth & sustaining activities
• Identification and implementation of automation techniques and controls where suitable
• Assist with the management and resolution of customer, internal and supplier quality concerns and improvement activities
• Carry out people management and development activities for all reports and develop action plans to improve competence, training and capability
