The firm has embraced cloud accounting etc Xero, Quickbooks etc A mix of remote/home to office working will be on offer also, certainly in the short term.Job DescriptionJoining as Bookkeeper you will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeeping services, up to extended trial balance, preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services, dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. You will work on varied clients mixed in industry range and turnover. Clients are primarily limited company, OMBs, SMEs well into the £millions in turnovers. Alongside this they act for a significant number of smaller sole traders, start-ups and other clients. You will carve a key, support role here to managers and directors with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer with the role and firm.The Successful ApplicantYou may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirement to be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across any of bookkeeping, preparing vat returns, CIS, management accounts etc within an accountancy practice firm of any size, as a Bookkeeper. You will have at least three years or ideally more experience, developed across any of these areas, within an accounting firm / accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement. Part time or full time working arrangements can work from three to four days, or full time. A mix of remote/home to office working will be on offer also, certainly in the short term.What's on Offer£22,000 - £28,000 dependent on the background and experience of the right professional, plus benefits. .
