Our client is a well known venue in East London. They have a high daily footfall and are looking for methods to maximise their revenue.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager would be responsible for maximising revenue streams for the site. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Research & identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customer needs, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Identify leads and develop business relationships with prospective business partners.
  • Analyse site data and trends to come up with commercial revenue generating ideas.
  • Negotiate partnership contracts as required, working closely with the legal department.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver promotional strategies and activities that are aligned with business needs.
  • Drive pricing and revenue management performance of the various existing services.
  • Key account management - nurture strong relationships with existing key partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for profit growth.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager should have the following skillset/experience:

  • Tenacity to drive and seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Ability to analyse data sets and create applicable strategic plans.
  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
  • Someone from a travel, hospitality, or multi-site venue background could be advantageous.

What's on Offer

Salary circa £50,000 - £60,000 DOE plus 10% Annual Bonus
