About Our Client

The client are a developing biotech undergoing expansion, with the aim to support in development of novel t-cell therapies.

Job Description

As a Senior Scientist based in Oxfordshire you will:

  • Support with establishing display technologies to analyse antigen specificity relating to t-cell receptors
  • Work closely with cell lines and associated culture techniques
  • Utilise and perform a number of molecular biology based techniques
  • Utilise genetic engineering techniques (such as CRISPR-Cas9) to modify and engineer receptors for pipeline targets

The Successful Applicant

To be successful you will have:

  • At least an MSc (preferably PhD) in Cell Biology /Immunology or related area alongside relevant lab experience
  • A can-do and forward-thinking attitude; be motivated, adaptable and driven
  • Cell line engineering experience, ideally utilising CRISPR-Cas9 techniques
  • Experience with related techniques including cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry
  • Experience with working with t-cells (desirable)
