They are expected to make informed budget decisions and utilise data to achieve KPIs and support business growth.The Successful ApplicantSkills required of our Operations Manager:In depth knowledge of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995Demonstrable experience of managing a vehicle fleetExperience with vehicle technologies, e.g., Automatic Vehicle RecognitionAbility to demonstrate influential communication.Hold recent Certificate of Professional competence in National Road Haulage Operations.HGV and ADR experience.Positive attitude, pro-active, strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure.Strong Time Management and organisational skills.Highly Resilient in high pressure situations.FORS Practitioner - Highly Desirable or to be obtained within 6 months of commencementISOH/NEBSOSH training qualification (Health and Safety / Environmental) - DesirableWhat's on OfferThe role comes with a genuine opportunity to progress to a Head of Operations role.
