Job Description

Lead the UK&I team embedding a culture of Fleet excellence & best
practice, maximizing individual strengths and developing talent.
▪ Responsible for the Fleet de-carbonisation strategies, fleet utilisation
performance, duty of care and fleet innovation.
▪ Accountable for line management and workload management of the Fleet
managers and administrators across UK&I. Ensuring his/her team follows
agreed processes and governance.
▪ Recognised as the Operational Leader for the Fleet services category in the
eyes of the business.
▪ Work collaboratively with Group procurement in all supplier commercial
negotiations ensuring Fleet needs are clearly defined and measurable
against SLA'S and KPI'S
▪ Develop, implement and align the Operational Fleet Strategy ensuring
alignment with the overall regional and business strategies.
▪ Lead major strategic Fleet operational initiatives and build positive working
relationships with senior stakeholders, developing appropriate engagement
processes to successfully influence both capital and operational
investments, budget and planning cycles
▪ Provide strategic bid Support on behalf of Fleet to the relevant businesses
▪ Accountable for the successful operational management of complex
supplier relationships to drive improvements in quality/cost service.
▪ Ensure full Duty of Care and legal compliance is in place for all Fleets
across in line with any legislative requirements and best practice.
▪ Responsible for creation, monitoring, reporting and delivery of Fleet targets
▪ Proven track record of creating effective reporting/data analysis.

The Successful Applicant

▪ Demonstrable experience in the fleet
purchase/rental or logistics industry,
preferably
▪ Excellent supplier and contract
management skills delivery of Fleet
Management services
▪ Ability to influence key & diverse
stakeholders at all levels
▪ Strong analytical & problem-solving
skills
▪ Ability to manage fluctuating workloads
with a flexible approach to the fulfilment
of work commitments
▪ Excellent coaching and development
skills, with experience of engaging and
leading a team
▪ Strong influencing and communication
skills, using a range of techniques to best
effect.
▪ Experienced leader, with excellent
influencing skills and ability to think on
feet and make decisions under pressure.
Track record working effectively in cross
functional teams
▪ Must be confident in challenging others,
whilst at the same time maintaining and
building a professional relationship
