They have a number of sites across with UK and operate a Head Office function near Mold, North Wales.Job DescriptionAs the Environmental Coordinator you will be responsible for:Coordination and delivery of compliance with all environmental requirements, regulatory and corporate.Primary contact for engagement with environmental regulators.Provide effective environmental advice and support to all relevant stakeholders.Appropriately assess and reduce the organisation's environmental risk.Supervise others, including environmental, regulatory, contractor and other HSE Team members.Perform audits and gap analyses against appropriate compliance requirements/standards to identify areas for continual improvement in HSE performance.Act as an effective delegate to the HSE Manager, supporting all HSE Team activitiesThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Environmental Coordinator will have:Previously worked in a similar Environmental/HSE position - ESSENTIALWorked in the Oil & Gas industry - ESSENTIALStrong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIALManaged a small team - HIGHLY DESIRABLEISO Lead auditor qualifications in either ISO14001 or ISO45001 - DESIRABLEWhat's on OfferThis is an interim position for a minimum of 9 months with a strong possibility of this being extended. The role is based near Mold however there will be opportunities to work in a hybrid pattern.
