They are radically changing to deliver high-quality policing services in a more efficient and cost-effective way, in line with the Mayor of London's Police and Crime Plan and the New Met for London Strategy.Job DescriptionThe HR Policy and Change Lead role is a key position and will sit within the MO11 Service Improvement, Performance and Innovation team.This is an exciting time to join the team as you take the lead and be at the forefront of developing and implementing a cultural shift and organisational change.You will be based on site in London, with travel across various Metropolitan Police sites as required.Your responsibilities will include:Planning and implementing all components of our People Support offering including Wellbeing; Equality, Diversity & Inclusion; Learning & Development; Resourcing; People Analytics; Recognition & RewardImplementing an optimum workforce model that we can track, measure and flex as required to adapt to changing service delivery needsEnsuring that the MO11 People & Development team works seamlessly with corporate HR so that all parties understand roles and hand offsMeasuring the People Team SLAs to ensure the delivery of high quality processes and value add to our customers (MO11 staff)Promoting the use of data to make decisions and plan for the futureWorking collaboratively with operations whilst raising the profile of the People & Development outputDeputising for the Head of People & Development on a regular basisThe Successful ApplicantThe successful HR Policy and Change Lead will have extensive experience within a HR role that has particular focus around leading people through change and cultural development.An extensive knowledge of HR Policy and Workforce Planning is essential along with an ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels across a wide range of roles.A demonstrable experience of applying an analytical approach to problems and generating insight to make sound data driven decisions would be beneficial.
