Job Description

As the Business Development Manager for Plant and Tool Hire, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base and revenue in your designated region. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and targeting potential clients in the Construction sector
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Creating and executing a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Evaluating market trends, competition, and customer needs to develop actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.
  • Travelling to meet with customers face to face
  • Attend exhibitions as and when required

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the plant and tool hire industry, or selling Construction consumables
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Results-driven and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales software.
  • Drivers license
