As the HSE Advisor you will be integral to getting the new state-of-the-art facility compliant to a high level of Health & Safety. You will be a part of the journey from day one, collaborating across functions from HSE, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain & Maintenance.Monday - Friday - Days Based PositionJob DescriptionAs the HSE Advisor onsite, you will leading from the front & involved in a wide range of tasks & activities to get the site compliant ready to go on day one of production starting. As well as:Key Responsibilities:Providing competent advice on HSE issues to ensure initial and ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation and other requirements.Supporting departmental EHS improvement plans and undertaking internal audits.Working with the Facilities and Compliance team to ensure processes are in place, assessments are arranged and completed in required timescales and tracking of any required actions to completion.Liaise with regulatory officers as required (e.g. Local authorities, Environment Agency) and maintain the systems to ensure that the business always complies with HSE requirements.Arrange hazard and risk assessments and audits of new or changed plant, process, and equipment, take the required actions based on the results.Lead and guide the team in the investigation of all HSE incidents or accidents and ensure the required records are completed and stored. Ensure lessons learned are captured, communicated and the HSE system updated as required for any such incidents.Identify HSE training requirements for all employees and where applicable carry out relevant training.Monday - Friday - Days Based positionThe Successful ApplicantYou will be a competent Health & Safety specialist who is looking for a challenge, in an exciting business going through a new stage in their life cycle.
