Construction Supervisor

The Construction Supervisor will primary be responsible for the day to day site management of building fabric projects taking place across a portfolio of schoools.

Typical projects will include classroom extensions, office refurbs, roof replacements and installation of brand new toilet blocks.Day to day tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and managing building projects across multiple school sites within the academy trust.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, adherence to plans, and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with school staff and other departments to minimize disruptions during construction and ensure smooth project implementation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and project reports.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project statuses, challenges, and achievements.
