About Our Client

A family owned, well established British brand within the personal care sector are looking to add an International Sales Manager to their team.

Job Description

Reporting into the International Sales Director, this position's core focus will be to drive and deliver sales and sales growth for the business across Europe and the Middle East. You will be responsible for further developing and implementing a regional international sales strategy, to ensure that you meet and exceed the financial targets set, grow existing customers and develop new customers using a distributor model, aswell as going direct to retail.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing

-Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic sales plans to meet and exceed financial goals

- Work with the marketing team to develop plans for key retailers and distributors to ensure that the brand is front of mind

- Build a trusting and professional relationship with customers and distributors

-Identify and share new business opportunities with the business and your customers

- Evaluate your customer performance and be able to recommend a profitable action plan if required

- Work with a with multi-functional team (Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Compliance and Customer Services) to develop plans to deliver profitable sales growth

- Have a detailed knowledge of your sales region and identify the role that the business can play

- Work closely with customers and follow up promotional activity and ensure effectiveness

- Present New Product Development to existing and new customers and ensure that it is tailored to their region

- Understand and identify the best route to market in each region - direct to retail, distributors, agents

- Manage key customers category review dates and make sure that we meet their deadlines

- Attend trade shows and customer meetingsBudgeting, Forecasting and Reporting

- Provide market insight to assist the International Sales Director establish and set sales budgets

- Forecast accuracy - monthly and quarterly reviews of sales targets

- Provide supply chain with a monthly forecast for all key customers

- Work closely with customer service team to ensure that orders are delivered as per customer requirements

- Prepare trip reports and findings from market visits

- Manage and keep internal systems up to date with accurate information

- Close management and scrutiny of sales and customer specific targets

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application to the role of International Sales Manager, we are looking for the following:

- Experience in an international sales role

- FMCG experience is a must, personal care would be an advantage

- Strong commercial acumen

- Deep understanding of sales and business practices and market dynamics.

- Able to identify, target and realise new opportunities

What's on Offer

Up to £55,000 + car allowance, bonus up to 25% + package.

2 days a week in the Midlands office (please note this is non negotiable)
