About Our Client

PE backed retail business in Greater Manchester, who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant into their growing Finance team in the North West.

The business is well established in the NW and is looking to grow following its success this financial year. This an ideal role for someone currently in Accountancy Practice, who is looking for their first role in industry. You will get the opportunity to broaden out your experience and learn via osmosis from their strong finance team. The successful candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA qualified coming from an audit background. Sector specific experience is beneficial, but not a necessity.

Job Description

  • Management of all Fixed Asset and capital expenditure sign offs, cost tracking and reporting.
  • Cash flow management activities and weekly cashflow reporting.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and cash reconciliations.
  • Annual external audits.
  • Tax audits.
  • ABL audits.
  • VAT returns in accordance with each different countries regulations.
  • IFRS16 calculations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be newly ACA/ACCA qualified coming from either a accountancy practice background or a similar Financial reporting role, in industry. They will also be highly driven and happy to work in a fast paced environment.
