Job Description

As Procurement Innovation Lead (Purchasing Manager - NPD/Innovation) you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company by identifying, evaluating, and implementing groundbreaking sourcing and supply chain solutions.

Your role will include:

  • Developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies
  • Collaborating with new and existing suppliers to identify and secure the best ingredients, ensuring full integration into the business
  • Project manager for NPD - working closely with the marketing team
  • Work closely with suppliers to assess capability Inc. make vs buy options Inc. 3rd party contract manufacturing
  • Streamlining the supply chain to optimise efficiency and reduce costs
  • Exploring new technologies and trends in food manufacturing
  • Risk mitigation

The Successful Applicant

To succeed as Procurement Innovation Lead (Purchasing Manager - NPD/Innovation), you will need:

  • A deep understanding of food manufacturing and sourcing - both internal and external e.g., outsourced / 3rd party manufacturing
  • Proven experience in identifying and implementing innovative solutions
  • Exceptional stakeholder and project management skills
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A passion for pushing boundaries and driving change
  • Continuous improvement mindset across end-to-end procurement and supply chain
  • Manage the ambiguity of sitting in between marketing and procurement

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will be offered up to £65,000 plus car allowance, 15% bonus, up to 10% matched pension, single PHI and 26 days holiday with the option to purchase more.
