As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be working with all levels within the business in order to implement the site improvement strategy business.Job DescriptionThis role gives you the chance to work closely with the senior leadership, implementing their redefined HSE strategy & promoting best practice across the site. As the Health & Safety Manager you will be overseeing HSE for this site based in Tamworth, ensuring the business continues to move forward on their Health & Safety journey.Key responsibilities include:Working with the senior management team to deliver a Health & Safety StrategyConducting risk assessments, ensuring legal compliance, mitigating environmental risk & monitoring compliance to current legislationFocusing on continuous improvement through capturing the correct operational process data and feedback / report to the business making recommendationsRecommending & implementing site improvement projectsMaintaining the existing HSE system & suggesting changes in order to improve it furtherConduct internal audits of the facilities to ensure all procedures and processes are working as intendedLiaising with the site operation & management teams to promote a Health & Safety conscious way of thinkingProviding, recommending or requesting training in matters relating to Health & Safety and/or Environmental mattersThe Successful ApplicantA Health & Safety specialist with first-hand experience of driving health & safety improvement projects within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
