With the expansion of their workforce they are looking for an experienced Health & Safety advisor to join the team.

Job Description

* Proactive Guidance: Providing expert advice and guidance on all matters related to Health & Safety, promoting a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
* Risk Management: Conducting thorough risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure the well-being of our staff and customers.
* Management of Accidents: Including investigations, reporting, managing insurance claims, trend analysis and identifying remedial works.
* Training and Education: Developing and delivering engaging Health and Safety training programs that empower our team members at all levels, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility.
* Stakeholder management and contract management: working with all business areas to ensure health and safety is at the forefront of our operations and projects. Engaging with external stakeholders and contractors on key focus areas.
* Data-Driven Insights: Utilising data analytics to inform safety decisions, identifying trends, and proactively addressing potential areas of concern.
* Regulatory Compliance: Staying up-to-date with the latest Health & Safety regulations and ensuring our business operations align with legal requirements. Managing our online health & safety compliance management tool.
* Presentations: to Executive Team and Board on health & safety activity and strategy and chairing health and safety meetings internally and externally.

The Successful Applicant

Alongside having 3 years of experience in Health & Safety, you will have the following qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent)
* NEBOSH International Certificate in Fire Safety - desirable
* Qualification in asbestos, legionella and COSHH management
* Full, clean driving licens
