Job Description

As a Financial Accounting Manager duties will include but are not limited to, leading on the preparation of financial statements, preparing annual reports, ensure accounting transactions are compliant with accounting standards, liaising with audit, supporting the finance directorate and wider business on accounting issues, improving internal financial controls, developing processes and procedures, ensure that payments and collections are paid correctly and in line with agreed payment schedules, recognising key investments in line with accounting standards, year end accounts, managing the year end process, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Be Fully Qualified ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked in a Financial Accountant role previously or preparation of statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked with key stakeholders ESSENTIAL
  • Have an understanding of applicable accounting standards ESSENTIAL
