This is a great opportunity to join a small public sector organisation in Sheffield city centre.

Job Description

The key focus of this interim role is to manage end to end casework & to support and advise managers in managing Employee Relations cases end-to-end in line with policy and procedures.

You will also coach and empower Line Managers to deliver sustained improvement in the management of Employee Relations issues with focus on informal or early resolution.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be available to start imminently and have the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified - essential


  • Experience managing ER cases of varying complexity - disciplinaries, appeals, grievances, capability, sickness to successful completion.


  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and case law.


  • Experience working closely with Unions.
  • The ability to work within a fast-paced environment, manage and prioritise workloads and conflicting demands.

6 month fixed-term contract

£32,000 - £35,000 + benefits

Based in Sheffield, hybrid working (2-3 days pw).
