IT Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to lead our efforts in optimising and streamlining our global network and server infrastructure. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Infrastructure and manage a team that includes a Systems Subject Matter Expert. This role is critical in ensuring network efficiency, reliability and Server consolidation to support our organisation's growth and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Efficiency: Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of our network infrastructure, including optimisation of server resources and reducing unnecessary overhead.
2. Network Scoping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse the current network landscape and design future-proof solutions that align with business objectives.
3. Sever Consolidation: Streamline and modernise our server estate, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that outdated or underutilised servers are decommissioned.
4. Network Reliability: Implement measures to enhance the reliability and speed of our servers, reducing downtime and improving overall performance.
5. Remote Site Connectivity: Evaluate and optimise the connection of remote sites to our network, ensuring seamless and secure communication.
