Save JobEmail job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsIT Support Engineer - Up to £30,000.Working closely with the IT Manager to provide IT support across the business.About Our ClientOur client is are a large independent supplier of household items to the retail sector based in Trafford Park.Job DescriptionThe successful IT Support Engineer will be responsible for the following:Work with the IT Manager on ongoing projects and help to complete the projects in required timescale.Assist in maintaining the hardware infrastructure including telephony system and printers.Assist employees with day-to-day IT issues.Offer troubleshooting, support, and repair when IT equipment or networks malfunction.Demonstrate great service skills, listen carefully, and exercises patience.Maintain records of hardware and software inventoryAssist with maintaining information security through controlled hardware or software installation and staff education.Maintain computer networks and connectivity.Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).The Successful ApplicantThe successful IT Support Engineer will have technical knowledge in the following areas:Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS.File ServerExchange OnlineVeeam Backup and RecoveryHyper-V - VirtualisationOffice 365Microsoft TeamsAdvanced user in Word, Excel and Outlook.Symantec AdministrationOther key skills required include:Excellent communication skills.Self-motivated.Well organised.Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ERP would be ideal.Driving Licence required.What's on OfferThe salary of £26,000 to £30,000 (DOE) is on offer for the successful IT Support Engineer.
