Job Description

As a Research Assistant based in Oxford, you will be responsible for:

  • To assist the technical development and analytical testing of existing and new products
  • Contribute towards the development of our proprietary drug delivery platform.
  • Initiate experimental troubleshooting on routine problems, with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in technical transfer to CDMO's.
  • Design, execute and interpret laboratory experiments, with minimal supervision, to meet project timelines.
  • Timely documentation of experimental outcomes in both presentations and research reports
  • Comply with all relevant Safety and GMP procedures.
  • All other necessary tasks, as required by the Chief Scientific Officer.

The Successful Applicant

To be a successful Research Assistant you will have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • Hands on experience of working with hydrogels strongly preferred.
  • An interest in working small molecule and biologics delivery desirable.
  • Strong IT skills
  • A good team player, proactive and recognizes opportunities for improvement.
