Job Description

The Legal Counsel position based in Farnborough will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of complex client contracts, master service agreements, framework contracts, IT agreements etc
  • Reviewing tenders and advising the business on the contractual and commercial risks
  • Providing strategic legal advice to assist in the delivery of the company's commercial objectives
  • Ensuring that legal risk is managed
  • Drafting and review of other non-core agreements
  • Management of litigation and communicate with external counsel
  • Supporting on international GDPR compliance and data privacy projects
  • Assisting the company secretary with matters applicable to UK company law



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Legal Counsel position will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years PQE
  • Experience of drafting/negotiating complex contracts
  • Previous in house experience is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
