Senior Financial Accountant

Main areas of responsibilty include:

• To liaise with external auditors for half year review and year-end audit
• Monthly submissions of group consolidated financials to our shareholder to the agreed timetable in line with International Financial Reporting Standards
• Monthly submissions of management packs to our shareholder to the agreed timetable, including Profit and loss, Balance sheet, Cashflow statement and Capital Expenditure Summary
• Preparation and filing of audited statutory accounts for Group and all subsidiary entities
• Contribute to the monthly board pack and supplementary reports
• Preparation and submission of the Corporation tax returns for group and all subsidiary entities
• Upload internal group tax submissions
• To provide expert technical advice and interpretation of proposed or effected changes in accounting rules under International Financial Reporting Standards
• To assess alternative accounting treatments where these exist, and explain the financial impact and the pro's and con's of the alternatives
• To draft accounting papers when requested
• Contribute to the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, including the submission of which to the shareholder
• Assist with project work upon request
• Support the day to day user administration for CODA and reporting systems for all users and liaise with IT as required, including resolving queries from system users
