They're shaping a healthier, happier future for our four-legged friends."Job DescriptionConducting regular maintenance and inspections on a variety of production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic issues in machinery, and implementing timely repairs or adjustments.Collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager to identify areas for operational improvement, and implementing measures to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.Assisting production teams with machinery setups, providing relevant training, and ensuring equipment is configured correctly for optimal performance.Performing routine checks on equipment to preemptively identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns or malfunctions.Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any replacement parts used to maintain an organised and efficient maintenance schedule.The Successful ApplicantA collaborative, flexible team player, with a passion for problem solvingAn independent thinker who isn't afraid to make those difficult decisionsExperience as a multi-disciplined engineer (electrical and mechanical), min 5 yearsRelevant engineering qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3)Previous experience of working in food manufacturing will be advantageousA growth mindset - you want to learn and improve your skills and experienceA focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of our productWhat's on OfferSalary dependent on experience and qualifications - ranging from £42,000 - £49,500 pa (+ Overtime)Overtime available, paid at time and a half8 hour shift - working 4 different rotating shift patterns AM, PM & Nights.
