About Our Client

The Government Property Agency is leading one of the most ambitious workplace transformation programmes in the UK. We are delivering a smaller, better connected and better quality, greener property estate to support the work of the Civil Service and bring teams closer to the communities they serve. As the workplace changes, we're delivering the offices needed for modern government, now and in the future. Our team knows how to create places where people can be productive, collaborate and share ideas in person; and where they want to work. That includes delivering new hubs in Peterborough, Darlington and Birmingham, through to cutting emissions from offices in Bristol and to managing historic London landmarks.

The Government Property Agency is now the largest office property holder in government, having transferred over 950,000 square metres of property assets into its management. This equals 45% of the total government office portfolio, with a value of more than £2.1 billion. We're supporting government departments to relocate to different parts of the country, giving more people the chance to access Civil Service careers and boosting local economies. Our work can bring huge benefits to an area and help deliver regional priorities - acting as a catalyst for regeneration, bringing jobs and investment, and delivering social value. We work closely alongside combined and local authorities to help deliver our goals and theirs.
