Job Description

* Conduct workshops: supervise professional customers, provide technical training in pastry making, and transmit high standards, excellence, and passion through your knowledge and know-how.
* Conduct demonstrations all over the Asia Pacific region: in support of the sales force, conduct product implementation demonstrations during trade shows or organised demonstrations (trade shows, public speaking)
* Design, Define, and execute Regional/local projects (e.g.: Video shootings, Home Baking projects, Local product developments)
* Technical assistance missions: carried out directly at the customer's premises, carrying out an on-site diagnosis and providing appropriate technical training in pastry making
* Technical referent of the customers for the UK&Nordics Countries (Give qualitative answers to all technical needs of the customers)
* Grow capabilities of Junior team members, UK&Nordics Countries pastry chefs, and team members in the area.
* Participate in marketing activities (writing recipes, preparing photos to illustrate documents sent to customers, brainstorming, etc.) and R&D work (testing products under development conditions) with the school's teams.
* Work in collaboration with the sales team of the region
* Work in collaboration with the Regional marketing team to:

  • Elaborate on the annual marketing calendar
  • Design / Define our annual regional events
  • Design and define annual product innovation launches & pastry support events



* Work in collaboration with distributors/chefs distributors in the region
* Work in collaboration with the Director of the area in order to provide insights/feedback to build a long-term pastry strategy for the region
* Work in close relationship with French Schools to elaborate the Regional Pastry Planning
* Bring innovation & ideas to recruit, build loyalty, and entertain customers

The Successful Applicant

  • 5 years of experience and expertise in pastry craft and/or food service.
  • Knowledge of chocolate, ice cream, and pastry-making technique
  • Prior experience working in a luxury hotel chain or a premium restaurant specialising in chocolate, desserts, pastries
  • Enjoys teaching, training, and demonstrating creations to others and delivering excellence
  • Work in a multifunctional & multicultural team as well as business environment, working alongside both local and international colleagues, partners & clients
  • Confident, but fair and diplomatic in communication
  • Strong social skills, networking ability, and ability to bring people together to cooperate
  • Open to change - continuously learning and improving your own skill sets.
  • Take accountability for outcomes and be responsible for your region's performance and results
  • Passionate about pastry creations and a healthy team spirit
  • Fluent in English, fluency in other languages would be an advantage
