About Our Client

I'm currently working with an instantly recognisable Public Sector business who are looking to appoint a highly skilled Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic commercial finance team.

Job Description

Reporting into an impressive Head of Planning and Reporting you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high quality business partnering to numerous teams
  • Establishing a framework for identifying and prioritising demand across the business and develop integrated business plans
  • Providing technical expertise and strategic leadership on financial performance
  • Leading a team of Finance Business Partners, overseeing their career development
  • Deputising for Senior Leadership as and when required
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACCA or Overseas equivalent)
  • A strong background in financial business partnering within a large company or FTSE listed.
  • Previous public sector experience would be beneficial
  • Great understanding of P&L, balance sheet, risk and capital management
  • Expertise in project change lifecyles and agiles processes would be advantageous
