Surveyor

▪ Provide a responsive, professional, and helpful service to operations. Looking to be proactive as possible to minimise property related issues within the care homes.
▪ To work with the Property Services Manager to operate a planned preventative maintenance system for all property assets, plant, and equipment.
▪ Support the homes with the management of the maintenance personnel for the area, fulfil training needs, and recruit for vacancies.
▪ Plan and implement works as approved and programmed at each site, giving direction, as necessary, to each home's maintenance operative.
▪ Where appropriate manage contractors to ensure subcontracted work is completely on time and sensitively.
▪ Plan and undertake regular inspections of the homes ensuring all homes have the required level of support needed to deliver the works.
▪ To follow processes and procedures in the delivery of capital works at the homes and on a need basis project manage refurbishments and/or other essential capital improvement projects
▪ To attend all property team meetings and be available to attend operational team meetings as requested and agreed by the Director of Property.
▪ Undertake annual budget surveys to set requirements for the coming financial year.
