Competition/Compliance Manager

I am recruiting for a Competition/Compliance Manager for a monitoring Trustee Services of a global professional services consultancy in London.

You will take ownership of the oversight of implementation of structural and/or behavioural remedies by large multinational companies. You will manage the day-to-day work of multidisciplinary teams and be responsible for drafting of regular reports to the competition authorities.You will work on high-profile cases, involving global and listed companies, and report to competition authorities around the globe including: the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority, the Federal Trade Commission in the US and the State Administration for Market Regulation in China.Your project portfolio will include Big Tech regulation and a wide range of sectors such as: financial services, aviation, consumer goods, utilities, etc.Key responsibilities:

• Managing projects concerning the implementation of remedies offered by parties in the context of merger, antitrust, state aid proceedings.
• Scrutinizing the implementation of structural and/or behavioural remedies by the parties in the context of: o divestiture processes (including the suitable purchaser's assessment), viability of divestment businesses, hold-separate/ring-fencing
• Drafting periodic progress reports to the competition authorities and in this context: o liaising with the parties and their advisors to establish and maintain adequate channels of communication.
• identifying and collecting information required for the purpose of throughout yet balanced monitoring
• scrutinising submissions from the parties, including third parties
• promptly identifying compliance risks (and potential issues) and escalating matters, as required, internally and externally
• managing various stakeholders with different objectives and incentives.
