Reporting to the COO you will lead and manage the HR team (including HR and Workforce Development Business Partners)You will ensure the organisation follows best practice and deliver added value to the organisation by ensuring robust management information systems are in place and all attendance and resourcing plans are strategically managed. The Head of HR will help to empower local managers to lead and motivate all employees.The Head of HR will provide support to the whole Organisation in respect of all matters relating to HR, including Recruitment processes, employment policy, handbook and procedure development, all employee relations issues, performance management and reward and recognition systems. They will ensure quality and compliance with all Employment and statutory legislation. You will be able to demonstrate your commerciality, flexibility and adaptability, ability to work at pace and ability to take a balanced view in the interest of the organisation and its stakeholders. You will also be able to provide robust examples of change and innovation initiatives you have led and evidence your strategic management experience.The Successful ApplicantAs the Head of HR you will:Be CIPD qualified to level 7 or equivalent.Have excellent Employment law and HR practice knowledgeChange Management/Organisational Development experienceExcellent Stakeholder ManagementTeam Management experienceAn understanding of governance within charities and experience of working with or within charities is desirable.What's on Offer£45k - £50k The successful candidate will be required to work from the Cardiff office, but with the flexibility to attend all operational sites, as required, so a full drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
