About Our Client

I'm currently working with a highly recognisable Charity who are looking to bring on an technically strong Year End Accountant on a 4 month initial contract with the opportunity to go Permanent, if successful. This will be a great opportunity to enhance your year end reporting experience, whilst working for one of the most successful charities in London.

Job Description

Reporting into a impressive Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting year-end audit and liasing with external auditors
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Preparing reporting packs for various stakeholders
  • Assisting with system enhancements

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA Equivalent)
  • Previous Charity experience is desirable
  • Technically strong and comfortable with year end processes
  • Immediately available or available at a short notice (2 weeks or less)
  • Strong eye for detail
