Category Manager - Major Projects (Construction)

The Key Responsibilities of the Category Manager for Major Project will be:

• To develop a strategic plan for the direction of the procurement's required for the Major Projects Category
• Leading and developing the implementation of the Category Plan based market knowledge and strategic goals
• Implement the sourcing strategy for new projects and deliver clear value for money benefits through cost savings and proactive influence across departments
• Lead on advising key stakeholders as well as procurement process training across departments while managing a category buyer
• Assisting the Director of Procurement with effective procurement processes while achieving sustainability and socio- economic targets
