solutions for a variety of market sectors. Equipment found on Off-Road plant machinery in the main. A market leader, with manufacturing locations in UK, India,
China, and aftermarket warehouse in the USA.

Job Description



The customer interface is a solution led sales process with tailored solutions developed to meet individual
customer requests with a key focus on cross departmental relations, which is imperative to drive the
business forward with a consideration to the overall business strategy. The customer base is Global,
and the role therefore requires regular domestic and international travel.



The Sales Manager will:

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new sales leads and opportunities with a value based selling approach to generate strategic sales growth for the business.
  • Perform market analysis to identify new markets/products.
  • Define and execute a clear strategy to achieve desired results.
  • Professionally represent and promote to UK domestic and international customers.
  • Regular travel to domestic and international customers.
  • Development of existing and new customer relationships.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and contracts with customers.
  • Timely and accurate reporting.
  • Cross departmental interaction to integrate customer projects to the wider business.
  • Achieving monthly and annual business targets.

The Successful Applicant



The Sales Manager will have:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and generating new business within technical sales.
  • Knowledge in industry, and/or fabrication and hydraulic systems beneficial.
  • Customer centric mindset - desire to understand what creates value to customers to become the supplier of choice to drive new business growth.
  • Ability to identify issues and circumnavigate with constructive solutions. Innovative thinker.
  • Self-motivated and tenacious to achieve company goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain access and work with the right external and internal contacts.
  • Strong IT knowledge, MS Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint/ other presentation packages.
  • Strong presenting skills, with the ability to prepare and present the business and the product in a professional and structured way.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to react and encompass change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

What's on Offer

£50,000 base with 10k OTE plus benefits.

The role is based between office locations; South Mids with plenty of domestic and international travel.
