Save JobEmail job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsExcellent opportunity to join an established global manufacturing businessNewly created Product Compliance functionAbout Our ClientMy client is a FTSE 100 British Engineering and Manufacturing company who have sites globally.Job DescriptionAs the Head of Product Regulatory Compliance you will be responsible for:Lead and manage the product regulatory compliance function, providing strategic direction and guidance to the wider international, multi-business teams.Develop and deploy the Group Product Compliance strategy.Evaluate and map the regulatory compliance landscape.Maintain broad appreciation of global, regional, and local product regulations and standards, and interpret their implication s for the organisation.Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and develop strategies to mitigate risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the individual business divisions.Oversee the development and execution of compliance training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and promote a culture of compliance.Engage with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and certification bodies to stay informed about emerging regulations and industry best practices.Investigate compliance incidents, implement corrective actions, and develop preventive measures to avoid future non - compliance.Establish and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance programs and initiatives.Collaborate with international business teams to address compliance-related issues, respond to regulatory inquiries, and manage regulatory relationships.Stay informed about advancements in technology and automation tools that can enhance compliance management processes.Support Business level responses to key customer requests on Product Compliance.The Successful ApplicantAs the Head of Product Regulatory Compliance you will be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as regulatory affairs, compliance, engineeringProven experience in regulatory compliance roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of product regulations and compliance requirements.Extensive knowledge of global, regional, and local product regulations, standards, and industry-specific compliance frameworks.Including but not limited to: Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), Toxic Substances Control Act.
