Job Description

As a Principal Scientist based in the Lancashire area you will play a key role in advancing scientific initiatives. You will

  • Oversee the development and validation activities surrounding a number of analytical methods
  • Be the technical SME working closely with clients and colleagues to support with delivery of key projects
  • Analyse, interpret and report on scientific data
  • Address complex scientific challenges and develop innovative analytical solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of scientist to deliver on and enhance analytical capability
  • Contribute to necessary documentation including SOPs, validation protocols and reporting, in-line with industry regulations

The Successful Applicant

To be successful you will have:

  • A background in analytical chemistry with strong method development and validation skills
  • LCMS and/or GCMS expertise
  • Proven experience interacting and working with clients on complex technical development projects
  • Leadership experience, managing and mentoring teams of scientists
