Product Strategy and Road map Development Define and execute the product strategy for the sustainability data platform, aligning with sustainability objectives and stakeholder requirements. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, ESG regulatory requirements, emerging technologies, and growing customer needs and incorporate these insights into the platform road map. 2. Platform Development and Management Lead the end-to-end product development life cycle, working closely with internal technical development teams and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery and ongoing enhancement of the sustainability data platform.· Collaborate with technical teams and data office colleagues to design and implement robust data collection, integration, and validation processes within the platform.· Work with data office colleagues to develop data visualisation tools like reports, dashboards, analytics, and scenario analysis tools, built on or enabled by the platform.· Continuously monitor and evaluate the platform's performance, usability, and data integrity, working with technical teams to implement improvements and resolve issues as necessary.3. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration Engage with internal stakeholders, including sustainability experts, risk colleagues, client facing teams, data analysts, and executive leadership, to understand their data needs, requirements, and challenges. Engage with external stakeholders such as sectoral collaborations (e.g., PCAF, NZBA), suppliers, and ESG data providers to design solutions that meet user needs. 4. Change Management Apply change management expertise to lead the Data & Platforms work-stream of the EMEA Sustainability Programme. Coordinate the input of senior working group members, manage competing demands with sensitivity, and report progress to head to the Sustainability & Steering Committee5. Platform Adoption and User Support Drive platform adoption by working with technical teams to develop user-friendly interfaces, intuitive workflows, and comprehensive user documentation and training materials. Provide ongoing support to platform users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them in utilising the platform effectively.6. Platform Performance and Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the platform's performance, user engagement, and data quality. Conduct data analysis and reporting to derive actionable insights and provide recommendations for optimising sustainability performance based on platform data.7. Management of ESG Data colleagues serve as line manager for team members of the Sustainability Strategy Team who cover ESG Data and performance, ensuring adequate oversight so that reporting deliverables are met in a timely manner. Drive performance management and career development for these colleagues.The Successful ApplicantEducation & QualificationsThe role requires the candidate to be educated to degree level in an appropriate field of study - e.g. finance, business, sustainability, environmental science, data scienceExperience & KnowledgeHigh degree of sustainability knowledge, especially incoming sustainability regulation, standards, and transition/physical risk measurement principles, and the ability to apply this knowledge in the complex domain of data management and analytics.Evidence of previous experience in financial services, markets and banking activities and/or the surrounding ESG regulatory frameworkIdeally, proven experience in product management, preferably in the development and management of data platforms or software solutions.
