Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Interim Head of Procurement:

  • To develop, implement and monitor the Procurement strategy to support the overall objectives
  • Creating and implementing the sourcing plan of the organisation by promoting best practise throughout
  • Lead and manage a team ensuring performance systems are in place to meet key targets
  • Deliver an effective procurement service including the management of key supplier relationships ensuring breakthrough performance in quality, service and cost



The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Head of Procurement will:

  • Operated at strategic level across the Public Sector
  • Have experience in managing a team/projects
  • MCIPS qualified or working towards
